Gold Medal Camps is proud to offer the following sport-specific camps. Each camp is designed to improve the skills vital to success in its respective sport.

 

 
 

 

 


All-Sports Speed and Conditioning Camps

Description:

     All-Sports speed camps are open to boys and girls ages 10 and up.  These camps will develop speed & agility for all sports.  All-Sports speed camps are comprehensive in nature.  All activities will be presented at this camp. 

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys and girls, ages 10 and up, seeking a competitive edge.

 

Objectives:

Improved Athletic Speed & Agility for All Sports

Perfect Sprint Mechanics  *  Faster Starts / Reaction Time / First Step

Core Development  *  Improved Agility / Change of Direction

Improved Explosiveness  *  Balance & Coordination

Improved Acceleration Performance

 


 

Football Speed & Agility Camps

 

Description:

     Athletes will have the opportunity to apply the speed & agility training as they practice the skills needed for their specific position.

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys, ages 14 and up, seeking to dominate the field.

Soccer Speed & Agility Camps

 

Description:

     Soccer speed camp will develop speed, agility, and first-step quickness.  Training methods willl include agility and foot speed drills, resistance training, overspeed training, plyometrics, balance,  coordination and conditioning drills programmed for the competitive soccer athlete.

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys and girls, ages 10 and up, seeking a competitive edge on the soccer field.

Improved Soccer Performance

Volleyball Speed & Agility Camp

 

Description:

     Volleyball Speed & Agility Camp will focus on developing first step quickness and improving vertical velocity.  Foot speed, agility, and reaction time development are most important to volleyball success.  Core development, using a wide variety of medicine balls and training methods will increase upper and lower body power and range of motion.  Athletes will utilize a wide variety of speed/agility development equipment.

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys and girls ages 10 and up.

 

Objectives:

Improved Vertical, Lateral, and First-Step Speed

Improved Reaction Time, Balance and Coordination

Total Core Development  *  Increased Range of Motion

Increased Strength - Power - Agility

 

 


 

Girls-Only All-Sports Speed & Agility Camp

 

Description:

     Girls will have the opportunity to train as a specific group.

 

This camp will benefit:

     Girls ages 10 and up.

 

Objectives:

Speed & Agility Development for All Sports

 

 


 

Youth All-Sports Speed & Agility Camp

 

Description:

     Youth Speed Camps will be held for boys and girls grades 4-6th.  Athletes will be introduced to speed, agility and conditioning training techniques.  The camp activities will be applied to a wide range of competitive sports.  All activities will be age-appropriate in nature.  A wide variety of speed development training aids will be utilized at this camp: resistance parachute training, medicine balls, resistance harness, jump ropes, sand sprints/jumps, balance boards, resistance bands, reaction belts & reaction balls, agility rings, agility quad - and more!

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys and girls ages 8-11.

 

Objectives:

Introduction to the following skills:

Perfect Sprinting Mechanics  *  Core Development

Improved Lateral Movement / First Step / Change of Direction

     The goal of this camp is to teach a broad range of speed skills which can be applied to all sports.  Activities will be presented in a positive, relaxed atmosphere.

 


 

High-Performance Track & Field Camp

 

Description:

     High-Performance Track & Field Camp is an outstanding opportunity for athletes to improve event skills.  This camp will be staffed by High School & Collegiate coaches as well as some of the Top Collegiate Athletes in the Midwest & USA.  High Performance Track & Field Camp Participants will have the freedom to receive instruction in multiple event areas during this 5 day camp.   Event Areas covered will be: Pole Vault, Endurance, Hurdles, Throws, Sprints & Relays, Horizontal Jumps (Long & Triple) & High Jump.  Come to this camp ready to make big gains in your overall event performance.  Event progressions & teaching will be commensurate with the athlete's abilities.  Athletes must bring their own throwing implements & pole vault poles.

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys and girls ages 10 and up.

 

Objectives:

     Training techniques for each of the following events will be taught at  this five day camp.

 

Field Events:

Shot Put  *  Discus  *  Pole Vault  *  Long Jump

Triple Jump  *  High Jump

Running Events:

Sprints  *  Hurdles  *  Endurance

 


 

Basketball Speed & Agility Camp

 

Description:

     Basketball Speed & Agility Camp will focus on the movements required to be a successful Basketball player.  A wide variety of speed & agility enhancement equipment will be utilized at this camp.

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys and girls 5th grade and up.

 

Objectives:

Improved Foot Quickness

Lateral, Vertical & Straight Line Speed Development

Total Core Development  *  Improved balance  *  First Step Speed Increased Power  *  Perfect Sprint Mechanics  *  Injury Prevention

 


 

Baseball / Softball Speed & Agility Camp

 

Description:

     Baseball / Softball speed & Agility camp will focus on the multiple demands of these sports.  Base-running acceleration, agility and lateral movements required to play great defense, core strength development for increased range of motion which improves throwing and hitting skills.  A wide range of speed development equipment will be used at this camp.

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys and girls ages 10 and up.

 

Objectives:

Speed  *  Agility  *  Quickness

Lateral Movement Development  *  Hand-Eye Coordination

TOTAL CORE DEVELOPMENT = Increased Range of Motion & Flexibility, Improved Balance & Coordination  *  Increased Power & Strength

Tennis Speed & Agility Camp

 

Description:

     Tennis Speed & Agility camp will focus on drills & progressions needed to become better players.  Improved speed, acceleration, agility, coordination, power, balance, change of direction & conditioning are important aspects of this camp.

 

This camp will benefit:

     Boys and girls ages 10 and up.

 

Objectives:

Improved Tennis Performance

Improved Agility / First Step Speed / Change of Direction

Foot Speed  *  Hand-Eye Coordination  *  Improved Balance

Total Core Development  *  Improved Power and Speed

 

     This camp will utilize Medicine Balls, Core Balls, Power Rope Balls, & power grip balls to simulate and strengthen the movements needed to play successful Tennis.  A wide variety of other speed development equipment will also be used at this camp.
